About that full moon

People's crazies and the crazy come out when there’s a full moon. For kids, that means sweet-faced Angels turn into wild things.
Usually angels (or at least I’d like to think so), aside from a little sibling rivalry now and then, we're having a bad, very bad day. Screaming at the doctor, this was not my angel, yes he has his moments but loves the pediatrician and is always calm at having his blood drawn ( a regular monthly thing).
We spent 15 minutes analyzing the situation. Maybe he needed a bit more attention. Maybe this whole crud/virus for everyone else thing was making him upset. Maybe he was coming down with it Again.
Maybe it was none of the above. Apparently there were a bunch of other kids acting up, throwing and screaming in the other exam rooms. In fact, seems like all hell broke loose in the pediatrician offices.
My girlfriend, with no kids, just called, after a brief chat she was certain she had the answer to why my Angel was so not himself.... a full moon. In fact, it is the brightest full moon of the year.
Talk about the crazies coming out. And when it comes to kids and nurses/doctors and needles, it’s enough to give you a headache.
